"Dog Day Warriors" uses watercolor on aquabord with handmade paper collage. It was created to pay homage to the last flowers standing in the artist's garden during the hottest months of summer. These flowers are a metaphor for strength and endurance as well as a nod to a wild and tenacious desire to survive despite the odds.
