Item Description
“A Night to Honor Joan Baez” concert tote bag
Internationally respected singer Joan Baez was drawn out of touring retirement to be the focus of a February 8, 2025 tribute in San Francisco that was a benefit for Sweet Relief Musicians Fund after the devastating Los Angeles fires.
This lovely souvenir is a 15 x 15” canvas tote printed with the concert title in black on one side and Joan’s image and the names of participants on the other. This a rare example of merchandise from a Joan Baez concert, and these were only given to certain ticket holders.
The packed, one-time-only concert at the venerable Masonic Auditorium on Nob Hill featured a star-studded lineup including Emmy Lou Harris, Roseanne Cash, Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Tom Morello and many other top musicians who wereclearly excited to be part of this exceptional benefit/tribute (certain performances are posted online). Celebrate this legendary American folksinger, a civil rights and nonviolent activist for decades, and own a piece of women’s history from 2025!
