Artist Statement:
This year, I wanted to explore a tactile construction method that encourages the viewer to feel and touch, with layered textures and materials. With a palette of dark tones and bright gold, I picture this cod gracing the walls of a study or propped on a bookshelf next to tales of the high sea.
Artist Biography:
Meghan Perlow is enjoying her second year as Director of Exhibits, and 3rd year as a cod artist. Owner of local floral studio Poppy Floral, Meghan typically spends her weeks busy creating luxurious floral displays for her wedding clients.

Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 12 from 12-3 and July 13 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
