Item Description
"Keep On Swimming" by Lisa Richardson-Bach
Medium: Kiln-Formed Glass And Wood
Size: 19" x 8"
Artist Statement:
My love of the ocean began when I first started sailing at age six. I've never been far from the sea, and most of my work involves the motion and restlessness of waves across the water. Doing a Cod for the MFoA is natural for a seafaring artist such as myself.
Artist Biography:
I am an Aerospace Engineer by education and an artist by choice. The medium of glass speaks to me in a fluid artistic sense, like the ocean I have always been near, but it has a technical side that requires precision and knowledge to master the medium. It is perfect for my left/right/center brain.
