Item Description
Offering, 2025, cast bronze, scorched beech, 15" x 4" x 7"
Offering explores my link to motherhood and the natural world through the creation of an intimate monument to maternal diversity. As a queer female artist and mother, I feel a critical need for alternative definitions to the binary expectations of motherhood. Cast off by the forest once they have performed their task—seed pods resonate as a timeless allegory for the myriad forms a nurturing force can embody.
