"dandelion dancer 6" is part of my "dandelion dancer" series, reflecting my journey as a dancer and how movement helped me somatically release trauma and reclaim my sense of self. Constructed from dried weeds and floral debris, the figure embodies both fragility and strength, capturing stillness within motion as a symbol of healing and renewal.

« dandelion dancer 6 » fait partie de ma série « dandelion dancer ». Cette série reflète mon parcours en danse et la façon dont le mouvement m’a permis de libérer des traumatismes de façon somatique et de revendiquer mon sens du moi. Créée à partir de mauvaises herbes séchées et de débris floraux, la figure incarne à la fois la fragilité et la force, et capte l’immobilité dans le mouvement, symbole de guérison et de renouveau.

I am a queer Vietnamese-Canadian artist exploring memory, identity, and interconnectedness through photography, dance, and digital media. Blending historical and digital techniques, I create composite works inspired by my heritage and lived experience. My work has been exhibited nationally, supported by the Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts.
Je suis une artiste queer d’origine vietnamo-canadienne. C’est par la photographie, la danse et les médias numériques que j’explore la mémoire, l’identité et l’interconnexion. En juxtaposant des techniques numériques et historiques, je crée des œuvres composées qui s’inspirent de mon héritage et de mon expérience vécue. J’ai exposé au Canada grâce à l’appui du Conseil des arts de l’Ontario et du Conseil des arts du Canada.
