Item Description
Warrior's Keeper, 2025, pigment Ink on cotton, 8" x 10" Rag, 8"x 10"
Warrior’s Keeper" honors the caregivers of sickle cell warriors. Through transformed still lifes of pomegranates, the project symbolizes their resilience, empathy, and unseen sacrifices. It sheds light on the emotional weight of supporting loved ones with a life-threatening illness, fostering awareness, compassion, and a deeper understanding of non-visible disabilities.
