Item Description
Interrupted Snack, 2021, pigment print on paper, 13" x 16.5"
Interrupted Snack is an image I made in 2021 when my son was four months old. I was in the thick of postpartum haze - challenges, beauty, overwhelming love and life. This image is part of a larger body of work titled Failure to progress, which I've been making since my son was born via unplanned, emergency C-section in May 2021 (during COVID). His birth was traumatic, and sparked a total and complete shift in how I related to my art practice.
