Two tickets to a TI Classical Series Concert
Tickets much be purchased by end of 2025. Performances scheduled are below in April, May and June 1.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Texas Instruments Classical Series for the 2024–25 season, conducted by Fabio Luisi, features a blend of timeless masterpieces and contemporary works. A highlight of the season is the complete performance of Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen in concert, a monumental endeavor marking the first time a U.S. orchestra has presented the entire cycle in recent history.
The series also includes world premieres by composers such as Raven Chacon, Sophia Jani, and Sean Shepherd, as well as the U.S. premiere of Andrew Norman’s Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra. Additionally, the orchestra will perform Dallas premieres of works by Estonian composer Allison Kruusmaa and American composer Amy Beach.
Notable guest artists this season include violinist Leonidas Kavakos, who serves as Artist-in-Residence, and cellist Alisa Weilerstein, who will perform Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme alongside Bruckner's Symphony No. 7.
The season continues through May 2025, with upcoming performances including Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 – “Resurrection” from May 30 to June 1, 2025.
