Item Description
“Do you know the continents?” This globally themed basket of goodies will tantalize your taste buds, bring out your inner photographer, and prepare your family for global exploration the Montessori way! Enjoy a collection of wine, snacks and restaurant gift cards representing every continent except Antarctica. Of note is $250 to the Michelin-starred Dabney for the best of right here in the Mid-Atlantic, and $100 to Anju, a wonderful contemporary Korean restaurant.
Meet up with Ted Stanton, MSM Dad and photographer who’s captured people and places all over the world, for an hour-long family photo shoot. Kids can join the fun with a Fujifilm Instax mini camera and film. In addition to receiving your family photos, you can pick out a print of Ted’s from his global portfolio of images.
Next, head to DC for a tour of the magnificent World Bank building with MSM Mom Brittany DiMonte.
Six Montessori continent puzzles and a book describing kids around the world will bring learning home and inspire your next global adventure. A Roll Rider kids’ scooter suitcase, luggage tag, and passport holder will get your little traveler ready to go down the street or across the world. A world scratch-off map will beautifully track your family’s trips. Tucked into a travel-themed SCOUT tote bag, alongside all the items above, is a collection of beloved global recipes from families in Miss Kiess’s class. We love to travel far and wide, and hope that these recipes and everything else in our basket will inspire you to do the same!
