Item Description
Do you have a story to tell? Let this 1 on 1 Storytelling Coaching Session help. You'll meet with Daniel Andrew Boyd to get assistance on your creator journey in one of 4 ways:
1. Storytelling Basics (Recommended for first time)
2. Finding Your Niche (Content Strategy)
3. YouTube/Twitter Brainstorming (Content Strategy)
4. Advanced Storytelling work (Recommended if you've got a featured event coming up)
Dan has dedicated his life to the art and craft of oral storytelling, and runs the nonprofit Story Luck. He produced live storytelling shows in Chicago for over a decade. During the shut-down, he produced shows tailored for streaming and provided free one-on-one storytelling training sessions to 1,000 people all around the world as part of his nonprofit work. He combined everything he learned from the years of experience with the new found love for teaching, and now offers story-telling classes and private coaching sessions.
Dan's super power is the ability to listen with attention and delight. He's trained his ear to hear the story underneath all the mistakes. When you're first telling a story, or approaching any artform, you don't need a drill sergeant, you need someone who can sift through the sand to help you find the diamonds.
Maybe the story trying to get out is just a little urge inside you… a series of incidents that happened to you. Perhaps, you remember an event from your past and go back to it all the time. Dan's private training is designed specifically for those scenarios. They will help you resolve nagging memories. Find your meaning, find your why, and turn them into inspirational gems worth sharing.
In 2022 eight of the 10 National Storytelling Network Grand Slam finalists were people he taught. He's helped people win the local Moths and Grand Slams all over the US. His own stories have recently appeared on Story Collider and The Volume Knob Podcasts.
