Item Description
Don’t miss your chance to own this gorgeous piece - Chapter 6-19-20 Daniel in the Lion’s Den – by artist George Ray McCormick, Sr. (1945-2009). Intricately carved in basswood and finished in watercolor and polyurethane, it measures 8.5" x 12.5"
A self-taught artist, he began woodcarving in 1993. His contemporary folk art pieces - figures and then carvings and metal work - express his own evolution from someone who understood the ragged edges of urban life to a man who found new spiritual connections.
George's work has been displayed at the Smithsonian and the White House. Now you can proudly display one in your own house.
