Located in St. Johnsbury, VT, The Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium is much more than Northern New England’s museum of natural history — it is a place to marvel at the wonders of our world. Perfect for families and visitors of all ages, the Fairbanks Museum invites you to explore your universe!
The Museum holds over 30,000 objects from an eclectic permanent collection, including taxidermy, shells, tools, mummies, and artifacts from around the world. Don't miss John Hampson's "Bug Art" -- mosaics made entirely of beetles and moths -- and the seasonal native butterfly house (in the summer). The Fairbanks Museum is also home to Vermont's only public planetarium and the Eye on the Sky weather center.
Your Family Membership will entitle you to free museum visits for one calendar year for 2 adults and their children under 17, as well as free admission to every planetarium show, invitations to special events and openings, discounts on public programs, camps, and private parties, and a 10% discount in the Museum Store. You will also enjoy free or reduced admission to many other museums across the country through the Association of Science-Technology Centers Passport Program.
Membership must be activated by December 31, 2024.
Item Special Note
Items will be available for pickup starting December 6th. Items that can be sent in a first class envelope will be mailed at no cost to the winning bidder on December 7th, but the winning bidder accepts any risk. The cost of any items lost or damaged in transit, if not insured, will not be reimbursed by Minuteman Senior Services. If the winning bidder would like their item sent insured or with tracking, they will be responsible for delivery charges.
