Item Description
This package features two framed pieces of "Illumination Art" by Eleykaa.
The first painting is called "Song of Awakening" and tells the store of Tara, the Goddess of Compassion who was born from a tear shed by Avalokiteshvara who was saddened to see the immense suffering of this world. Tara emerged to heal pain with love and sorrows with compassion. What would it be like to lay my head in her lap, feel her hand stroking my hair, and listen to her sweet soothing song?
The second painting is called "Healing" and tells the store of a breathtaking lily pond. Some water lilies are nigh blooming, opening only when the sun sets and evening begins. I have watched the moon rays reach down to hold these majestic flowers... an offering of prayer.
Medium: These pieces of art are laser copies of original watercolor paintings.
About the artist. Eleykaa is a full time painter who lives on the beautiful island of Maui. She loves to paint and draws her inspiration from little (or sometimes big) experiences in her daily life. She calls these moments "snippets." Thus, each painting depicts a story inspired from a personal "snippet" and is included with her work.
Both pieces of are were created with so much aloha!
Also included in this package is another way to illuminate: with a beautiful large candle by Aspen Bay Candles in the scent of Bamboo Lotus
