The Veriditas Auction proceeds have always gone to support the work of Veriditas - from staffing, to programs, to daily operating costs and more. For the first time ever we have created an additional fundraising focus within our auction to help us build a better technological foundation for our organization. Read below to learn more about this incredibly important specific fundraising effort...

If we have learned anything in the past few years, it’s that technology has brought new opportunities and deeply meaningful connections for everyone who has come to Veriditas, especially for our virtual offerings. For example, our first hybrid programs, which are now in our archives, allowed people to participate in the Holy Fool Pilgrimage with Lauren Artress last year and the Art of Pilgrimage with Phil Cousineau this year.

After participating, one virtual pilgrim remarked, "You will never know how these videos have touched me. As I have just completed my (virtual) walk with you on the Chartres labyrinth, supported by organ and "Ave Maria," the tears are still running down my cheeks. My gratitude knows no bounds.”

We know that this is the powerful impact our programs can have and how important it is to us to support our community with meaningful classes, experiences, webinars and events.

But…from filming in Chartres to producing online webinars, Conversations with Lauren and Facilitator Training to “Zooming" on our Friday virtual walks to designing printed materials and online graphics, and so much more ... it all takes increasingly sophisticated and integrated technology. Our team has done an amazing job, often working with aging equipment and systems … now we need help to keep up!

Your donation will help us tap into technology and services we need to:

• Enhance online events with greater stability, faster links and easier use
• Ensure the future of our beloved free Friday Finger Labyrinth Walks
• Introduce you to people and stories that bring the work of the labyrinth alive
• Support our incredible staff with updated creative tools, integrated resources and much-needed computers, software and other equipment
• Ensure our website is easy to use and quick to navigation
• Offer new, high-quality, content-rich webinars, classes and virtual experiences
• Grow our Direct from Chartres library with enhanced production capabilities for even more “impact-full” experiences
• Streamline program registration, certification application, store checkout and more

As one long-time staff member put it, “We are operating in an ever-evolving world and we appreciate any and all contributions to help us maintain our systems so we can continue to serve our wonderful labyrinth community.” We couldn’t have said it better.
