Item Description
The winning bidder will receive an autographed 16x20 photo of "Mean" Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood, Dwight White, and Ernie Holmes. The signed photo is in Mint Condition and has a Certificate of Authenticity from Tri-Start.
“The Steel Curtain” was the key cornerstone of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense on the four 1970’s Super Bowl Championship teams. They were Super Bowl 9 in 1975, SB 10 in 1976, SB 13 in 1979, and SB 14 in 1980. The “Steel Curtain” was the famous Steelers’ starting defensive line, which consisted of Hall of Famer Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood, Dwight White, and Ernie Homes.
Greene is a member of both the Pro and College Football Halls of Fame. Greene, White, and Greenwood are members of the Pittsburgh Steelers All-Time team and Hall of Honor. Holmes was on two of the four Super Bowl winning teams.
The autographed photo is donated by Bruce Weiner.
