Born September 24,1940. Harvard University degree--1962. Founding member of the American Society of Marine Artists. In 1974 John was the first contemporary artist to have a collection of his work exhibited in the prestigious Peabody Museum of Salem in 1974. His paintings can be seen in numerous private and public collections throughout this country and abroad. John has been a participant in the Art in the Park events since 2016. In 2024 his Whale sold for the high bid of nearly $10,000.
